About the event
Do you want to learn how to meditate and experience the benefits of mindfulness in your life? If so, this course is for you. In this four week online meditation course, you will learn the fundamentals of meditation and mindfulness, such as what they are, why they are helpful, and how to practice them. You will also learn how to cultivate awareness, compassion, and kindness for yourself and others through meditation.
By the end of this course, you will be able to apply mindfulness to your daily life and activities, and create a sustainable meditation habit that supports your well-being and happiness.
Each week, you will receive a live video lesson (replay available if you can't make it), a guided meditation audio, and a workbook with exercises and tips to help you practice and deepen your learning. You will also have access to a private online community where you can interact with other students and the instructor, ask questions, share your experiences, and get feedback and support.
This course is suitable for beginners as well as experienced meditators who want to refresh their skills or learn new techniques. No prior experience or knowledge of meditation is required. All you need is a computer or mobile device with internet access, a comfortable place to sit, and an open mind.

The itinerary for meditation course online:
- Week 1: Introduction to Meditation and Mindfulness. In this week, you will learn the basics of meditation and mindfulness, such as what they are, why they are beneficial, and how to practice them. You will also learn some common myths and misconceptions about meditation and how to overcome them. You will practice some simple breathing and body scan exercises to get familiar with the process of meditation.
- Week 2: Focusing on the Present Moment. In this week, you will learn how to cultivate awareness of the present moment and avoid getting distracted by thoughts, emotions, or sensations. You will practice some mindfulness techniques, such as labeling, noting, and anchoring, to help you stay focused and attentive. You will also learn how to deal with common challenges, such as boredom, restlessness, or sleepiness, that might arise during meditation.
- Week 3: Developing Compassion and Kindness. In this week, you will learn how to cultivate compassion and kindness for yourself and others through meditation. You will practice some loving-kindness and compassion meditations, such as metta, tonglen, and self-compassion, to help you develop positive feelings and attitudes. You will also learn how to cope with difficult emotions, such as anger, fear, or sadness, that might arise during meditation.
- Week 4: Applying Mindfulness to Daily Life. In this week, you will learn how to integrate mindfulness into your daily life and activities. You will practice some informal mindfulness practices, such as mindful eating, walking, listening, or speaking, to help you bring more awareness and presence to your everyday experiences. You will also learn how to create a sustainable meditation habit and routine that suits your lifestyle and goals.
