About the event
Have you ever tried running and wondered how so many people actually find enjoyment in it?! Have you ever gone out for a “jog,” and learned that you actually have no idea how to even breathe, let alone “flow” through it? Did it feel hard? Did you experience shin splints, cramping, side stitches, tightness in your chest? Were you gasping for air?
Running is simple. We make it hard.
Would you be open to trying it again?
Courtney Wolfe, local yoga instructor, ultramarathon runner and endurance coach is passionate about helping people tap into their potential, realize what they are capable of and find the freedom and JOY she has found that comes through forward movement.
In this 3 hour session, prepare to learn nearly everything about the sport that has taken Courtney well over a decade to learn along the way through trial and error, injury and recovery, education and experience. …and don’t worry if you feel a little nervous! Inexperience is expected and encouraged!
In this educational session, come prepared to get hooked on your new favorite pastime! In addition to our time in studio, we will wrap up our session at Copland Park, where we will try our hand at a little half-mile loop (walking is FINE!) and a short yoga-ish cooldown!
